Timing Critical For Businesses Failing To Upgrade From Windows Server 2003, Warns Blue Chip

27th May 2015

The clock is ticking for companies who do not yet understand or who have not yet made provision for their business when Microsoft withdraws its extended support for Windows Server 2003 on July 14th 2015.  Blue Chip is offering free consultation to businesses to help them understand the implications of the ‘end of support’ and ‘end of life’ change and the options available to them.

Anthony Green, Sales and Marketing Director at Blue Chip, explains: “The end of life affects more than 9 million servers around the world owned by companies of every shape and size.  It requires an upgrade to ensure business continuity, with implications for the security and longevity of systems. There is a short window of time in which businesses who have not yet made provision for the change can migrate the applications and workloads currently relying on Windows Server 2003 to a new system, within a realistic timescale.”

As a Microsoft Gold Partner, Blue Chip has already helped many customers migrate their systems to the next generation platform. This free consultation provides independent, expert advice on the difference between Windows Server 2003, 2008 and 2012, highlighting the most significant features and benefits whilst also giving a breakdown of what is involved in migration, timescales and critical next steps.

Businesses can book a free consultation with Blue Chip by emailing or calling 0845 034 7222.
