For many businesses ‘Cloud Computing’ and its effectiveness is still very much an enigma. In order to dispel the myths and fully explain Cloud Computing in plain speaking terms, leading IT specialist Blue Chip is bringing together experts from Microsoft, EVault, Symantec and Dell Wyse for a series of events across the country.
Anthony Green, Sales and Marketing Director at Blue Chip, explains what businesses will gain from attending the events, the first of which takes place on 23rd November 2012 at Blue Chip’s offices at the East Point Centre in Southampton, followed by a second event at Blue Chip’s Headquarters in Poole on December 13th 2012:
“Cloud is very much the buzz-word of the moment, but many organisations are still left wondering whether it is right for them because they don’t fully understand it. This is an opportunity for IT Decision Makers, IT Technical, Business Owners, Business Directors to consult the experts, who will explain exactly what Cloud Computing is, why companies need it, the problems it solves and the business and bottom-line benefits associated with it. The aim is to give businesses the full picture so they can make strategic decisions about their IT and decide whether the Cloud is right for them.”
Both events are free of charge and run from 9.30am to 2.30pm, with experts from Blue Chip defining the Cloud and talking about Infrastructure as a Service; Symantec covering Cloud Security; Microsoft explaining Office 365; EVault discussing Cloud-based Backup and Disaster Recovery and Dell Wyse offering Next-Generation End Points.
Green adds: “We expect there to be a great deal of interest and urge businesses to register their interest early.” Businesses wishing to attend can do so by registering online or by contacting a member of the team at email@example.com.
