Blue Chip has announced its sponsorship of fourteen year-old Downhill Mountain Bike competitor Jack Miller from Verwood, Dorset. Jack ranked 7th in the British Cycling National Male Juvenile Class in 2013 and is the current South West Downhill Mountain Bike Champion in his Class.
In 2014, Jack has moved up a level, competing in the Youth Class against older riders with more experience. Blue Chip's Managing Director, Richard Cook, said: “It is always good to be able to help young people who have a genuine talent and Jack has impressed us with his dedication and passion for the sport. He has high hopes and plenty of potential in both the regional and national series having already made the podium this year with a first place finish. This will stand him in good stead for plans to compete in Europe in 2015. We are really proud to sponsor Jack and look forward to watching his progress.”
Ian Miller, father of Jack said: “Blue Chip’s support is invaluable for young athletes like Jack and ensures that he can train and compete at this elite level.”
