This best-of-breed Service Desk technology enables a level of proactivity beyond traditional system monitoring, as engineers are able to set tailored System Watchpoints which systematically enables Blue Chip’s technicians to carry out routine maintenance in line with best practice. This highlights issues before they become problems, therefore substantially improving customers’ uptime and performance.
Another factor in Blue Chip’s growth is the implementation of a dedicated Network team, which consists of highly specialised experts who proactively manage issues and provide guidance. This service offers genuine 24/7, round-the-clock monitoring, support and management, setting Blue Chip apart from its competitors. The amalgamation of outstanding software, specialist expertise and true 24/7 support resulted in a new three-year contract for a fully-managed service with theme park and attraction company Merlin Entertainments, who required global network support. Initially on a six-month trial with this new package, Merlin were “genuinely thrilled” by Blue Chip’s dynamic approach to Network Management and their dedicated team of specialists.
Following investment in Vodafone’s tier 3 datacentre facilities in 2012, Blue Chip has seen further growth in the uptake of its Cloud services, resulting in a number of key business wins this year. Additionally, investment in Vodafone’s datacentres means Blue Chip offers Cloud services that exceed the industry norm, offering complete reliability for customer peace of mind. A significant customer acquisition who sought this reliability is BH Live, the South Coast's leading leisure and event operator, who deployed Blue Chip to implement a Cloud-services strategy for over 500 of its internal users. The shift to Cloud services provides BH Live with a dynamic technological environment to support its expansion strategy across the region and will better support its customers through improved time-to-market, engagement and service.
